Gil assured that “Venezuela will overcome these challenges, as it has done throughout its history”. In his account on the same social network, Díaz-Canel stated that the measures of the U.S. government “attack legitimate income of Venezuela”.
He stressed that these are part of the imperialist crusade against those who do not submit to their interests and harm the Venezuelan people.
“Our solidarity with the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution and its president Nicolás Maduro,” he said.
Venezuela’s executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, on Wednesday described as harmful and inexplicable the decision of the U.S. government to revoke the license granted by Joe Biden’s administration to the oil company Chevron.
