The Army general acknowledged the professionalism, commitment and high political and ideological values that have contributed to the security, protection of our glorious Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR), and the defense of the achievements of the Cuban Revolution, the letter says.
Raúl Castro called on this group to continue to improve their work and advance towards higher goals, according to the letter, which was read at a political event and military ceremony on the date, chaired by the FAR minister, Army Corps General Alvaro López.
In this context, the head of the MINFAR gave the military unit a diploma of acknowledgement signed by the leader of the revolutionary process, as well as the membership card of the Communist Party and the Young Communist League (UJC) to officers, sergeants and soldiers.
Founded in 1995, the military entity fulfills its mission with pride and unwavering loyalty to the Revolution, highlighting the contribution in rescue and salvage work, the recovery of areas affected by weather events and the Covid-19 pandemic, local television reported.
