The epicenter of the earth tremor was located at 19.67 north latitude and -77.14 west longitude, 24 kilometers from the Bartolomé Masó municipality and 37 kilometers southeast of the town of Pilón, in eastern Granma province.

So far, there have been reports of perceptibility in the towns of Marea de Portillo and Bartolomé Masó, SSN Director Enrique Diego Arango reported on his Facebook account.

No material damage or deaths have been reported.
