“We can cooperate in the healthcare sector or trade, even in small volumes. We would be happy to buy from Russia,” the president said in reference to healthcare collaboration.

Ramos-Horta added that he was especially interested in purchasing pharmaceutical products and medical equipment from Russia.

“I know about Russia’s medical technologies. Russian medicine is a high class to the level of the best hospitals and doctors anywhere in the United States and Europe,” the 1996 Nobel Peace Prize winner summed up.
