Cuban Embassy in Dom Rep takes consular services within the nation

Santo Domingo, Feb 23 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Embassy in the Dominican Republic reportedly developed a Traveling Consulate in San Francisco de Macoris, capital of Duarte province, to bring its services closer to the places where its nationals reside.

This program, which the Consulate regularly carries out in support of Cuban residents in this nation, took place at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) in San Francisco de Macoris, the Embassy announced on its social media.

Cuban Ambassador to the Dominican Republic Angel Arzuaga headed the event, which will continue in Altagracia province next month.

This time, a business forum on investment opportunities, business, trade in goods, and services with Cuba was held.

An extensive exchange with entrepreneurs, young people, university students, professors, and friends of the Dominican Campaign for Solidarity with Cuba strengthened the ties in the economic, cultural, and social order between the two Caribbean countries, the press release said.

Cuban Consul to the Dominican Republic Damila Hechavarria and other officials from the state mission attended the event.
