They are not alone, nor will we allow them to inflict a second “Nakba” or “catastrophe” in Arabic, he stated in allusion to the name used by the Arabs for the creation Israel in 1948 and the resettling hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their lands.

Without mentioning his name, Aboul Gheit also denounced US President Donald Trump’s proposal to resettle the Gaza population to rebuild the territory.
