Rogov, who is also the chairman of the commission of the Public Chamber of Russia, wrote on his Telegram channel this Friday that the national flag, which symbolizes the control over the territory and liberation of the population from Ukrainian militants, was raised in the center of the village.

The 5th Guards Tank Tatsinskaya Red Banner Order of Suvorov Division participated in the battle for the village’s liberation. The fighting was intense but ended successfully for the Russian side, Rogov added.

On Thursday, Moscow troops advanced and occupied the Novoocheretuvate village on the Zaporozhye front.

Earlier in the week, units of the Southern Group reportedly began the battle for that enclave in the direction of Vremevsky, consolidating positions in the southern part of the village.
