Germany criticizes Trump for calling Zelensky a dictator

Berlin, Feb 20 (Prensa Latina) German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock described on Thursday as absurd the statement made by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who called his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, a dictator.

Local television informed that Baerbock also accused Trump of writing tweets in conditions in which he allegedly does not see the real world.

On Wednesday, Trump called Zelensky, on his Truth Social platform, an “unelected dictator” and a “modestly successful comedian” to negotiate quickly or risk not having a nation to lead.

He also accused the Ukrainian head of State of profiting and talking the United States into spending 350 billion dollars.

Several European politicians, including German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Czech President Petr Pavel, backed Zelensky after Trump’s accusations.
