Six men shot to death inside house in northeastern Brazil

Brasilia, Feb 18 (Prensa Latina) At least six men were found shot dead inside a house in the city of Abreu and Lima, in Greater Recife, the largest metropolitan region of the Brazilian state of Pernambuco (northeast).

According to TV Globo, all the victims were hit by gunshots.

The crime occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning, in an area known as Sitio Pitanga, in the neighborhood of Chã de Cruz.

All those shot were in the same residence, according to witnesses. Their names and ages have not been disclosed.

TV Globo’s investigation reveals that the Civil Police was activated at 03:12 (local time) and sent a team from the Department of Homicide and Protection of Persons to the scene.

At the moment there is no information about who shot the victims or the motive of the crime. The Civil Police reported that they are investigating the case.
