According to the program obtained by Prensa Latina, Rodriguez Parrilla, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), will have a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shortly after arriving in Hanoi from Singapore.
Wednesday’s agenda will begin with a tribute to Vietnam’s Independence Hero, President Ho Chi Minh, to whom Rodriguez Parrilla and the delegation accompanying him will lay a wreath at the mausoleum in this capital, where his remains are buried.
The visitor will then hold official talks with his Vietnamese counterpart, Bui Thanh Son, followed by courtesy meetings with Vietnam’s President Luong Cuong, and To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).
Finally, Rodriguez Parrilla will meet with members of the Cuban diplomatic mission here. The Cuban foreign minister’s official visit to Vietnam is part of a tour that previously took him to Malaysia and Singapore and will end in Laos on February 21.
