According to the online version of the VTV television station, Minh Chinh highly praised the positive development of the exemplary Vietnam-Cuba relationship and affirmed his desire to continue to strengthen it and make it more practical and effective.
The Vietnamese prime minister also suggested that both sides increase the exchange of delegations at all levels and closely coordinate the implementation of agreements reached during the state visit to Cuba by the General Secretary of the Communist Party (CPV) and President, To Lam, in September 2024.
At the same time, he urged to prioritize cooperation in food production, renewable energy, biotechnology and healthcare, and coordinating the implementation of the “Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Year” activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations, the source added.
The two sides also agreed to implement effective measures to promote economic, trade and investment relations, and many other areas of cooperation, in line with the special political relationship between the two countries, VTV pointed out.

According to the agenda of the visit, to which Prensa Latina had access, Wednesday’s session will begin with a tribute to the hero of Vietnamese independence, President Ho Chi Minh, and Rodríguez Parrilla and the accompanying delegation will lay a wreath at the mausoleum where his mortal remains rest.
