Mother Africa takes solid steps towards integration and global justice, the president wrote on his Telegram channel.

“We reiterate our commitment to South-South Cooperation and the deepening of ties between #Venezuela and #Angola,” he added.

Maduro also wished Lourenço “that his tenure at the helm of the AU will promote peace, justice and prosperity for humanity. I wish you success in this historic mission!”, Maduro said.

In another message, the Venezuelan head of State also congratulated Mahamoud Ali Youssouf for assuming the presidency of the African Union Commission.
