Regarding Erdogan’s visit to Islamabad, the two countries strengthened ties by signing a joint statement and exchanging 24 agreements, including memorandums of understanding (MoU), protocols, and deals in cooperation.
Following a meeting with Sharif, the Turkish president announced that both countries are expanding the scope of their current goods trade agreement in the first phase, Radio Pakistan station underscored.
Erdogan, in turn, said he would encourage his country’s investors to become more involved in this country and develop emblematic projects.
He referred to the military dialogue and cooperation in the defense industry, a sector that can contribute exponentially to trade and investment ties.
Erdogan assured that both sides reaffirmed to move forward on projects and potential areas of cooperation, including procurement, sales, and joint manufacturing.
