Thank you for the love you give us and provoke in us. In you, we see the future of the Homeland and we see it beautiful and safe. In this greeting, I send an embrace to those who, like the beekeepers, love and found, the president wrote on his X profile.
In a video published on the same platform, Díaz-Canel recalled some of his meetings with members of that group, who bring happiness at the time they are happy.
He said that with their performances, the beekeepers encourage people to work, thinking of the best for children.
The president recalled that on one occasion, Army General Raúl Castro asked the members of the Council of Ministers to enjoy a show that dealt about the essences, and that provoked reflection on what had to be improved in the work of the country’s leadership.
Díaz-Canel expressed gratitude for keeping National Hero José Martí, Fidel Castro, and the heroes and heroines of the Homeland alive, with shows that elevate the spirit.
You have understood what Martí meant with the phrase Homeland is Humanity, and you have taken your art to several countries, including the United States, as ambassadors of the UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund), he added.
The president recalled that in previous responsibilities, he always counted on La Colmenita to present shows that reached the heart and touched the human fiber of people.
Thank you for the love you have shown. It is no coincidence that this company has opened itself to art and life on February 14 (Day of Love and Friendship), because – as singer songwriter Silvio Rodríguez said, paraphrasing it – only love engenders wonder.
