Network in Defense of Humanity supports Cuba’s call against empire

Havana, Feb 13 (Prensa Latina) The "In Defense of Humanity and the Antifascist International" Network in Cuba on Thursday supported the call by President Miguel Díaz-Canel, who emphatically warned against current expansionist intentions.

In his account on X profile, the president wrote that the future of Gaza could be that of the entire developing world. (…) if what remains of conscience and multilateralism does not react to the new imperialist-Zionist project of dispossession, occupation and ethnic cleansing that is announced without shame from the capital of the empire, Díaz-Canel published.

The “In Defense of Humanity and the Antifascist International” Network is a movement of thought and action against all forms of domination and exclusion, and raised its voice today with the Cuban president’s reflection.

From the Cuba chapter of the Network we join this alert. Gaza is a mirror of all humanity.

Abandonment and complicity with the Palestinian genocide pave the way for fascism and neocolonialism in today’s world. Silence and indifference make us accomplices, it added.

US imperialism and its closest ally, Zionism, show their most ruthless side in the recent statements by their spokespersons on duty, Trump and Netanyahu. Both have expressed with total cynicism their intention to appropriate Gaza and continue with the forced displacement of Palestinians, which began more than seven decades ago, in 1948, the document pointed out.

Despite rejection by the international community and numerous voices within West Asia, the expansionist and colonial agenda against Palestine continues its course, threatening not only the fragile peace negotiations, but the legitimate right of the Palestinians to their land, it noted.

The battle for the future of Gaza and Palestine is a battle for the future of humanity, the statement concluded.
