India, Venezuela sign digital cooperation agreement

New Delhi, Feb 13 (Prensa Latina) India and Venezuela signed a digital cooperation agreement during the brief visit of Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez leading a delegation for the event on energy, which continues on Thursday.

Regarding the tour’s results, which she described as successful, Rodriguez welcomed the deal signed as an opportunity to promote exchanges in health, education, and government management, through developing free software and technological applications using Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an essential element for research.

She assured that it also provides for the exchange of professionals, experts, and training in technological matters and enables the consolidation of strategic relations between Venezuela and India.

The Venezuelan vice president stated that her country’s exportable offer was handed over to Indian Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, whom she thanked on behalf of President Nicolas Maduro for the warm welcome given to the delegation of the South American country.

Goyal pointed out that the meeting with Rodriguez analyzed some ways to improve ties between the two nations, diversify trade, and explore opportunities for deeper economic engagement in key sectors.
