Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar had a phone talk with his Emirati counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to discuss the grave humanitarian situation in the coastal enclave devastated by Israel’s military siege.
The two foreign ministers agreed to maintain close contacts to achieve a fair, comprehensive, and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue, according to a press release by the Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister’s Office.
Dar reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the rights of the Palestinian people, the government source indicated.
Several governments and international organizations have expressed their rejection of Trump’s plan, which includes US domination of that territory.
