Cuba has repeatedly denounced the use of organizations presented as humanitarian or for the defense of democracy -USAID among them- as fronts to penetrate and undermine societies, impose colonial values and contents, control local elites and the press, with the purpose of strengthening the hegemonic power of the United States.
