The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates ratified, in a statement, its support for the Palestinians’ right to return to their land and self-determination.

The Foreign Ministry warned that the region is going through a critical phase and believes that the only way to “face the risks and challenges that threaten peace and security” is to establish a Palestinian State.

The text stated that the international community must adopt an approach that respects the rights of all peoples in the region without discrimination or distinction.

The document also criticized the Israeli occupation and aggression against the coastal enclave, where more than 48,000 Palestinians have been reportedly killed since October 2023.

In this regard, the statement denounced “the unprecedented violations of the fundamental rights” of the Palestinians.

In a Fox News interview this weekend, Trump insisted on expelling the Palestinians from Gaza to rebuild it to make it a “real estate development for the future” and promised to own the territory.
