Chen stressed that, under the strategic leadership of the presidents of both countries, China-Iran relations achieved significant development in the last few years, with continuous exchanges in several fields and positive results.
Chen expressed Beijing’s commitment to working with Tehran to implement the agreements reached, strengthen communication and cooperation in multiple fields, and ensure stability and progress of the comprehensive strategic partnership.
Iranian Ambassador to China Mohsen Bakhtiar, in turn, underscored the importance his country attaches to developing relations with China.
He also expects to deepen political trust and expand cooperation in several fields.
According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the two sides exchanged views on issues of concern at the regional and international levels.
