In the UK, Wang will co-chair the tenth round of the China-UK Strategic Dialogue, and afterward he will visit Ireland and then travel to Germany to participate in the 61st Munich Security Conference, where he will address the forum devoted to the Asian country.
On February 18, in his capacity as president of the UN Security Council, China will host a high-level meeting on multilateralism and global governance reform in New York, to be chaired by Wang.
The Chinese foreign minister will also attend the G20 foreign ministers’ meeting in Johannesburg, South Africa, on February 20-21.
In line with Beijing’s consistent position in international scenarios, the chief diplomat is expected to advocate, at the center of the multilateral agenda, for a new global governance with equity and inclusion of all countries .
China has insisted on the need to build a community of shared future among all and rejects the law of the strongest in international relations.
