Through a statement, it stressed that such actions violate their historical and legal rights under international resolutions.
The Foreign Ministry warned that confiscating their lands and expelling them aims to erase their cause and undermine the right of return, particularly of refugees in Lebanon.
In the statement, Beirut called such plans a blatant violation of international and humanitarian law, as well as Lebanese conventions and constitution. In turn, it reaffirmed Lebanon’s commitment to international legitimacy and the right of Palestinians to a dignified life in their homeland.
The Ministry urged the international community to take urgent steps to implement the two-state solution, which it considers the only way to guarantee Palestinian rights, alleviate their suffering and stabilize the region.
