“He also plays the role of Police and seizes a plane owned by Venezuela”, continued the political leader, who on behalf of the PCT condemned the US interference and assured that “Trump and the Yankees will not pass!”

On the eve of the Summit, the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, once again lashed out against the governments of these three countries and their eventual presence at the X Summit of the Americas, to be held here this year.

During a joint press conference with dignitary Luis Abinader at the National Palace, he reiterated that “the three nations are enemies of humanity” and accused them of contributing to instability in the region.

During a working visit of less than 24 hours to this Caribbean nation, Donald Trump’s envoy also “supervised” the seizure of a second Venezuelan-owned plane held in the Dominican Republic since September 2024 at the request of the United States.

In view of Washington’s stance, the Rebel Movement also disapproved the use of national territory to conspire against independent peoples.

“From the Rebel Movement of the DR we condemn that foreign officials use the Dominican Republic to conspire against sovereign peoples such as Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua,” wrote in X its president, Juan Hubiere.

Also the Frente Amplio (FA) reaffirmed in an extensive communiqué that the “enemies of humanity” are those states that promote policies and actions against social justice, equity and human rights, as is the case of the United States.
