In his Facebook account, Perelló referred to air giants that are currently attracting attention and will allow for an increase in routes and the travel industry.
He pointed out that the French aeronautical giant Airbus presented its latest project, the A390.
It will be the world’s largest passenger jumbo jet and the first triple-decker aircraft in history.
The gigantic triple-decker Airbus A390 is the world’s largest Jumbo Jet with a capacity of 1,000 passengers.
The Airbus 390 will come in two variants, one is the A390-800 and the other A390-900.
He indicated that the A390-800 will be a triple-decker and the A390-900 will be a double-decker, but these variants are not yet finalized and may change as the project evolves.
The aircraft will have six Rolls Royce jet engines, and can fly 7,500 miles without stopping (more than 12,000 kilometers).
The plane is so large that it will need a runway of 1.2 miles (1.9 kilometers) to take off and land.
So far, the launching date has not yet been confirmed.
Lufthansa (German airline) will be the launch customer, when it has already ordered one aircraft (Emirates will be the largest user of the Airbus A390 and has ordered 190 aircraft), concludes Perelló.
