During a meeting in the capital, representatives of more than a dozen unions agreed to carry out protests against the policies of the Government of Javier Milei, and in defense of sectors such as health.
Those present analyzed the situation of public administration employees and highlighted the impact of the Federal March of Antifascist and Antiracist Pride, in which thousands of people participated in several provinces of the country.
The Front published a statement highlighting the intention to “advance with more and greater unity against the policies of hunger and plunder of the government by expanding the organization to other sectors of the State in conflict.”
In addition, the organization announced that another meeting will take place next week, in which the holding of a broad plenary session on health will be discussed, a sector that is going through a delicate situation of lack of funding, layoffs, program closures and emptying of hospitals.
The organization announced that it is planning to call for a day of struggle to expose the situation of workers in that and other spheres.
This was known shortly after Milei declared his decision to withdraw Argentina from the World Health Organization, which was strongly rejected by politicians, social groups and unions.
