The experts and the investigative chamber of the case have completed the investigation, and the parties, including the victims, have begun to familiarize themselves with their trial materials.
Vlasov told the TASS news agency on Thursday that there are around a thousand people among those affected. He also specified that given the number of victims, the transfer of the case to the courts could be delayed.
However, another of the lawyers, Alexander Yarin, said on Wednesday that he had not received notification of the completion of the investigation into the case, in which his client is accused of complicity.
For his part, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Aleksandr Bastrykin, reported that 27 people are accused in the criminal case for the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall building in the Moscow region.
The attack on Crocus City Hall was a shooting and subsequent explosion at the concert hall in Moscow, perpetrated on Friday, March 22, 2024, where 144 people lost their lives and another 551 were injured.
The Islamic State of Greater Khorasan, a regional affiliate of the Islamic State based in Afghanistan, claimed responsibility for one of the bloodiest terrorist acts perpetrated in Russia, although investigations also point to the responsibility of the Ukrainian special services.
