According to the delegate for Hydraulic Resources in the province, Antonio Hernández, around 1,300 inhabitants benefit from the system’s operation.
A pump that can guarantee an average of more than six liters of water per second, sufficient to carry out the work in the community, is fundamental to the functioning of the system, he said.
Hernández added that work is being done to complete the supply to thirty homes near the pumping station, popularly known as La Pollera, but the rest of the people in the settlement already receive water through the distribution network.
The official explained that the investment, which began in the mid-2023, had a budget of two million pesos and responds to the population’s demands for water.
