U.S. artists with new improvisation experience in Cuba

Havana, Jan 30 (Prensa Latina) U.S. artist Ted Nash will return to Cuba's National Museum of Fine Arts next Saturday as part of the program of the 40th International Jazz Plaza Festival, the museum announced today.

Nash, instrumentalist, composer, director, arranger, producer and pedagogue, will be accompanied by his fellow countrymen Ben Allison and Steve Cardenas, proposing a new improvisation experience in the different rooms of the Cuban Art Building.

This February 1, starting at 10:00 local time, they will walk separately, improvising as the art inspires them and interacting with visitors, to end later with a concert in the courtyard spaces, announced the Museum on social networks.

With more than 356 artists and around 200 performances in Havana, Santa Clara and Santiago de Cuba, the 40th edition of the International Jazz Plaza Festival is taking place in Cuba and will last until Sunday, February 2.
