As they have done every Thursday for decades, those women whose children were kidnapped by the last civilian-military dictatorship (1976-1983) will march around the May Pyramid near the Casa Rosada (Presidential Palace) in this capital.
They will also condemn the policies implemented by President Javier Milei’s government and the actions against the university founded by that organization.
This week, Mothers confirmed their participation in a Federal Anti-fascist and Anti-racist Pride March, scheduled for Saturday, and they are encouraging all citizens to participate.
The association called in a statement to take to the streets to reject the government that starves, represses, insults, fires, indebts, and surrenders sovereignty.”
Participants will march from the Congress area to the Plaza de Mayo to express their dissatisfaction with Milei’s measures and his recent statements against feminism, homosexuals, and diversity.
