According to the information disclosed by the Legislative, this day the Nicaraguan deputies will approve the titles referring to the political administrative division; as well as the supremacy of the Constitution, its reform and constitutional laws.
The day before, in plenary session, parliamentarians approved the title of the Political Constitution referring to the Organization of the State, in which the revolutionary model of this Central American nation is deepened.
“Power resides in the people, and is exercised through direct democracy and the protagonism of the person, the family and the community”, the approved article highlights.
According to what was known, in this title are the articles that establish the functioning of the state entities and powers of the state, and it is made clear that the Presidency of the Republic is the Head of State and Government.
The first vice-president of the Parliament, Arling Alonso, expressed that it was with the triumph of the Sandinista Popular Revolution in 1979 that the revolutionary State arose, which is enshrined in the 1987 Constitution.
The Deputy pointed out that in this second stage of the Revolution, with the Government headed by President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo, the positive aspects raised in the original reform were constitutionally retaken, “but with these reforms we are taking it further”.
