In his profile on X, the Cuban Foreign Minister reiterated his country’s commitment to the peaceful settlement of disputes, in order to banish forever the use and threat of use of force from Latin America and the Caribbean.
This Proclamation was signed by the Heads of State and Government of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) at the end of the Summit that took place on January 28 and 29, 2014 in the Cuban capital.
The document reflects the permanent purpose of fostering relations of friendship and cooperation among the members of CELAC, as well as respect for the inalienable right of States to choose their political, economic and social system.
