Lebanese lawmaker praises South’s resistance to Israeli occupation

Beirut, Jan 28 (Prensa Latina) Hassan Fadlallah, a deputy from the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc in Lebanon, highlighted on Tuesday the southern Lebanese residents' decision to expel occupiers, rebuild villages and restore normal life.

In a message depicting efforts to reconstruct and liberate south Lebanon, the MP assured that the project to build houses will start in Bint Jbeil, Ainata, Aita al-Shaab, Maroun al-Ras, Aitroun, and all border villages from Naqoura, in the western sector of Shebaa, in the eastern side.

Fadlallah reaffirmed the Lebanese position to liberate every inch of land and stressed the Israeli plan’s failure to destroy towns and displace residents.

For the third consecutive day, Lebanese citizens continued returning home to the southern border villages, despite Israeli attempts to intimidate them in some areas.

Lebanese Resistance (Hezbollah) Secretary-General Naim Qassem rejected on Monday any excuse for prolonging the occupation and blamed the United Nations, the United States, France and Israel for the consequences of the delayed Israeli withdrawal.
