Chinese company of assorted products reinforces its presence in Cuba

Havana, Jan 28 (Prensa Latina) The Chinese company IDON International Trading Co., Ltd., confirmed today its reinforcement of operations in Cuba through the distribution of food and other products of interest for the island's economy.

For the company’s commercial specialist, Jenny Maury Barrios, the idea is for the parties to mutually benefit, in terms of deals that include both state and private groups, and small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), along with self-employed workers (TCP).

That Asian company, based in the Jinan Development Zone (China) and with an office in Havana, thus ratifies its commitment to expand, strengthen and consolidate economic and trade links with the Cuban market, the executive stressed.

He recalled that since 2022, his entity established close cooperation relations with successful factories in China and the rest of the world, and markets in this nation its articles (provides customers with the highest quality products, while ensuring stable and reliable services).

Among its main lines are food products, such as coffee, beer, soft drinks, jams, tomato paste, candies and canned meats, as well as cleaning products, including soaps and detergents for all uses.

They also sell construction and hardware materials such as asphalt blankets, tiles, sanitary furniture, faucets and plumbing products, ceramic floor and wall tiles, aluminum marquetry, protection meshes, paints, MDF boards, galvanized sheets, angle and steel beams, pipes, wires, tools and conventional and LED lights, among others.

He pointed out that they deal with direct imports with different Cuban companies, through consignment and on-site contracts, from their bonded warehouses, which facilitate the immediacy of the importation of multiple products.

In this regard, he pointed out that its warehouses operate from Berroa (East Havana), Wajay (Boyeros) and La Tropical (Havana).

This reinforcement of tasks demonstrates the close economic and commercial relations between China and Cuba, the source stressed.
