The text recalled that the heroic Cuban nation was “unjustly included in this list since 1982 as part of a hostile imperial agenda to attack the self-determination, democracy and peace of the peoples of Our America.”
It stressed that the Government and people of the sister nation of Cuba became a beacon of resistance and combat in the face of the claims of the US empire and its lackeys, as well as has been an example of solidarity and humanity in its permanent support to the just causes of the world.
In this way, it said, “we recognize the leadership and the heroic battle that the Cuban people have given together with President Miguel Díaz-Canel to defeat each of these aggressions.”
The solidarity young Venezuelans expressed that “Cuba has always been a victim of terrorism and not a sponsor of it” and assessed as “significant and positive the decision of the US government to remove Cuba from this fraudulent and illegal list”.
