Interviewed by SB newspaper, State Secretary of the Security Council, Alexandr Volvovich, said there are reports on the analysis of foreign entities to determine the centers where internal provocations could take place.

“We are aware that foreign special services have intensified intelligence and sabotage activities. They are determined to probe the ground in search of critical points and detonators to conduct provocations to destabilize the situation. In principle, we see nothing new this time,” the official stressed.

In this regard, he added that the United States and its allies are continuing their strategy of legal, political, and economic pressure on Belarus.

The key objectives are to achieve a change of Government and the breaking of the alliance with Russia, he emphasized.

Volvovich assured that to achieve these premises, “the leading methods are disinformation, discrediting the Government in the eyes of the population and the international community, provoking division within the state apparatus and law enforcement bodies, damaging the economy and exerting political, hybrid, and other pressure under fictitious pretexts.”
