On his X profile, the head of State noted that Cuba on Monday joined, as the third State, South Africa’s demand at the United Nations International Court of Justice on this matter.
He pointed out that with such an action, Cuba reaffirms its unrestricted support for Palestine and condemns any policy that undermines its right to freedom and independence.
Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez, in turn, called on the UN International Court of Justice to speak out against the impunity of Israel and its accomplices regarding the former’s aggression.
The head of Cuban diplomacy stated on that social networks that Israel has massacred innocent civilians for decades, mostly women and children.
The Cuban people will always advocate peace and will be against genocidal policies, he said.
Cuban ambassador to the Netherlands Anet Pino stressed that this appeal must be attended to and understood by the justice body as an urgent call to stop the horrible international crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and Apartheid committed by Israel against the Palestinian people.
