BBB included master classes, lectures, performances, and competitions for dancers, professionals, and amateurs from different nations.
This time, they did not want to limit the event to Havana, so, with the spirit of crossing borders, they planned to hold a show in the Cuban province of Cienfuegos, some 237 kilometers southeast of Havana.
Some winners, chosen by an international jury in BBB HAVBANA 2025, will participate in the show this Monday, along with teachers and other guest artists.
The audience will enjoy the art of dancers Andile Ndlovu, from South Africa and a member of the Washington Ballet, Domsa Radu (Romania), Corinne De Bock (Italy), Angel Vizcaino (Mexico), Marsha Kwan (Canada), and a company from the Rocky Mountain Ballet Theater of the United States, among other foreign participants.
LADC will present fragments from the Habana Fenix (Havana Phoenix) show, which the company premiered in 2023. With this show, choreographer, teacher, and director Lizt Alfonso received the National Choreography Award from the National Association of Cuban Writers and Artists (UNEAC).
