The Executive Board of the Legislative Power and Edgardo Ramirez, president of the Venezuela-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group, were also present in the meeting on the Venezuelan side.

Cuban Ambassador in Caracas Dagoberto Rodriguez, and Yoerky Sanchez, president of the Cuba-Venezuela Parliamentary Friendship Group, attended the meeting as well.

The event reviewed the 2025 parliamentary work agenda and reaffirmed the establishment of that group to promote and strengthen relations between countries, peoples, and governments, and deepen the ties of friendship, cooperation, and solidarity between parliaments, sources indicated.

Mari Machado was a member of the Cuban delegation, led by President Miguel Diaz-Canel, who attended President Nicolas Maduro’s inauguration on Friday.
