Master and choreographer Lizt Alfonso and the prima ballerina of the National Ballet of Cuba, Gretel Morejon, will open this cycle, and also part of the program are the Italian Corinne de Bock and South African Andile Ndlovu, member of The Washington Ballet, among other guests.
These master lectures will take place at the headquarters of Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba (LADC) company in Old Havana.
According to Alfonso, one of the organizers of Ballet Beyond Borders Havana 2025, dance is a universal language that unites everyone and that is the spirit of the event.
In addition, she added, the first edition last year was a success and now there is a large participation of students from all over Cuba and also from other countries.
For her part, Charlene Carey, director and founder of Ballet Beyond Borders in the United States and the Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre, said that there is always a mix of different styles in the program they offer.
