The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates criticized, in a statement, the calls by settlers and members of the Israeli cabinet, including Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, known for his anti-Arab and expansionist rhetoric.
We urge the international community to discuss these inflammatory statements, as they coincide with actions conducted by the occupation forces,” the text said.
It criticized the rise in military aggressions and incursions in the West Bank.
Following an attack by Palestinian militiamen that killed three Israeli settlers on Monday, Smotrich called for turning the West Bank cities into another Jabalia, referring to the destroyed refugee camp in northern Gaza.
