According to the sources, a military convoy of 63 trucks loaded with advanced weapons and logistical materials arrived in the northeast of the province of Hasakeh, located about 600 kilometers northeast of this capital.
The caravan came from northern Iraq and entered through the illegal border crossing of Al-Walid.
The arrival of reinforcements coincided with the landing of four military helicopters at the US base of Kharab Al-Jir.
Washington maintains some 14 bases in Syrian territory, which are located mainly in the oil and gas fields, and justifies its presence with the fight against the terrorist group Islamic State, Daesh in Arabic.
