A shooting at a grocery store in the capital’s Manga neighborhood injured a 14-year-old boy. The shots were fired from two motorcycles. Police found about 20 nine-millimeter ammunition shells at the scene.
The press describes as terrible another crime that occurred in the Ellauri neighborhood, south of this city, where a 22-year-old man, who was holding his two-year-old daughter, was riddled with bullets by unknown assailants who were also riding motorcycles.
The victim was shot eight times and was taken alive to a clinic, where he died shortly after. His daughter, hit by some eight bullets, is hospitalized in the Pereira Rossell pediatric hospital with little hope of survival.
