In the statement of that collective it is emphasized that the campaign against the constitutional president of the South American nation, Nicolás Maduro, is driven by Edmundo González, a former candidate supported by the United States and governments submissive to this power, who did not accept the results of the elections of July 28, 2024.
For the Panamanian committee, the plan sponsored by Washington through its puppet González and the fascist María Corina Machado intends to attack democratic institutions in Caracas, as well as to exasperate the peaceful relations of coexistence between the Latin American states.
The message also demands that the Panamanian government abandon its role as a vassal ally of the United States and of interfering in the sovereign affairs of Venezuela.
“In this hour when national sovereignty is threatened by a future president of that empire (Donald Trump), we require solidarity and unity of countries,” the text reads.
They also label as shameful the role that Panamanian diplomacy intends to assume, instead of opting for a neutral stance and respecting the sovereignty of another State.
