In social networks, the Secretary of State referred to the tracking of a man in a suspicious attitude which culminated in his arrest and that of a woman.
Both were carrying wrappers of a pink substance known as ‘tusi’ in a vehicle, as well as ecstasy pills’, he said.
The investigation led to raids in two hotels in Maldonado, east of here, and the capture of another 10 people involved.
In their rooms were found various amounts of ‘tusi’, cocaine, crystal, marijuana, money in Argentinean pesos and dollars, as well as vehicles, electronic devices and documentation ‘key to the case’, said Martinelli.
Maldonado is the homonymous departmental capital and adjacent to Punta del Este, these days crowded with tourists, mainly Argentineans.
