The Union also considered it crucial that market conditions be thoroughly reviewed, so as not to distort competition or favor large players over smaller ones.
It also called on authorities to ensure transparency in the negotiations and distribution of medicines and to ensure that the most vulnerable patients are the ones who truly benefit from the initiative.
