Charlene Carey, the founder of Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre and BBB, implanted the event for the first time in Montana, under the premise of celebrating the dynamic evolution of world dance, said Lizt Alfonso today in a press release. She recalled that the initiative attracted artists and teachers from other U.S. cities, such as Los Angeles, and countries such as Italy, China, Pakistan, and Cuba.
The extraordinary results achieved in Havana left the audience eager to repeat the experience. That is the reason why the second edition was organized for this year.
The LADC headquarters, Malecon ART 255, and the National Theater will host the proposals of BBB HAVBANA 2025, whose opening gala will take place in the Avellaneda Hall at 7:00 p.m. local time next Tuesday.
For the occasion, the renowned Cuban company will perform excerpts from Habana Fénix, a successful show that premiered in 2023. jrr/jav/ro/mml
