In a statement to which Prensa Latina had access on the launch of the ‘Marathon of Love for Cuba’ initiative, the solidarity organization stressed the importance of taking the necessary actions in harmony with this world day.

The initiative, officially launched on Monday by the Latin American and Caribbean Continental Network of Solidarity with Cuba and Just Causes, aims to strengthen and articulate political solidarity actions towards the largest of the Antilles during 2025.

In this sense, the Nicaraguan movement expressed its commitment to increasing the struggle in the media by spreading the truth about the Revolution and demanding Cuba’s removal from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism, among other actions.

It added that the island has reached 66 years since that luminous day when the Rebel Army led by Fidel Castro gave the people the best New Year.

He recalled that much glorious history has been written since then in which the Cuban people have been the main protagonists, accompanied by other nations of the world.
