In a message sent to Prensa Latina, the organization said that it was aware of the challenges and difficulties that Cuba faces, “which is why we – worthy Cuban residents in the United States – express our unconditional solidarity with our people.”
The Association, based in the city of Miami, reiterated its commitment to fighting the criminal blockade imposed more than six decades ago on Cuba, and called for respect for the country’s sovereignty, as well as “an end to all kinds of aggression against our homeland.”
