Roberto Payano, on behalf of the national coordination team and the provincial committees, praised the work that the institution does with more than 1,000 solidarity and friendship organizations in almost the entire world.
“Cuba sows love and receives love,” Payano said after congratulating ICAP President Fernando González, Hero of the Republic of Cuba, and all the colleagues who work in that Institute, founded on December 30, 64 years ago.
He pointed out that in 2025, the Dominican Campaign will be present in many joint events to support that sister country, including the “World Marathon of Love for Cuba,” an initiative promoted by the Continental Network of Solidarity with the Caribbean island.
According to reports, the campaign against the hostile policy of the United States Government, especially to demand the end of the economic, financial and commercial blockade and Cuba’s exclusion from Washington’s State Sponsors of Terrorism (SSOT) list, is the main objective of this World Marathon.
