DLF recalls this Cuban milestone, led by Fidel Castro and the July 26th Movement, marked a turning point in the history of Latin America, inspiring movements for social justice and self-determination throughout the world.

Cuba boast a world-class health care system, a high literacy rate and has made significant progress in education and social welfare.
These achievements are a testimony to the resilience of the Cuban people and the strength of their revolutionary spirit, he said.
The Sri Lankan organization also praised the Cuban government and people for their unwavering commitment to social justice, international solidarity and their steadfast resistance against imperialist aggression.
The Cuban Revolution continues to be an inspiration for progressive movements around the world, the organization ratified.
